Margaret Noble, age 78, died with family by her bedside on May 16, 2016 at her home in Hillsborough, NC. She was the daughter of Eugene and Margaret Casey of Granby, Connecticut. Margaret was a dedicated educator, receiving her Bachelor???s Degree at St. Joseph???s Uneersity in Hartford, CT and theneer Master???s Degree at Southern Connecticut Uneersity. Serving the U.S. Department of Defense for 20 years, she had the opportunity to teach both the children of armed services members as well as soldiers, and live with her beloved family in Panama, Turkey, Puerto Rico and South Korea. After Margaret and her husband George made their home in Hillsborough, she spent her last years committed to teachineenglish as a second language to elementary students within Orange County. Margaret loved to travel the world with her family, especially the Caribbean aneeurope. She was famous for being able to pack for a two week trip in a sinee carryon. As an avid runner, she had acquired an impressive trophy collection and clocked couneess miles. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Hillsborough where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Survivors include her devoted husband of 52 years, George P. Noble III; loving sons, Thomas Noble (Barbara) of Massachusetts and Daniel Noble (Dorothy) of Maryland; brothers, Joseph Casey of Florida and Brian Casey (deceased); sisters, Maureen DiPietro of Connecticut and Janee Bazyk of Florida; grandchildren, Gabriel, Samuel, Ian, Katherine, aneemily Noble and many nieces and nephews from coast to coast. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 216 Governor Burke Rd, Hillsborough, NC 27278 on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. A private graveside service will follow. Family and friends are welcome for visitation at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4-6:00 p.m. Flowers are welcomed, and memorial contributions are appreciated in Margaret???s memory to your local ALS chapter or the ALS Therapy Development Institute at www.als.net.
