Margaret Cross Brown

DURHAM - Margaret Cross Brown, 91, of Durham passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Watts School of Nursing. Margaret served for 40 years caring for premature babies at Watts Hospital and Durham County General Hospital. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Betsy Blanton (Danny) of Rougemont, NC, Carol Tilley (Mark) of Stem, NC; her son Bruce Brown (Jessie) of Singapore and her grandchildren Brandon and Sarah Blanton and Calin and Isaac Brown. She is also survived by her sister Mildred Cross Biscardi of Norwood, PA. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Calvin Cole Brown. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Maplewood Cemetery, Section 17 with Rev. Clay Warf officiating. Friends may visit from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
