Margaret Pearce Kearney

Margaret Pearce Kearney, 81, of Franklinton died Saturday, January 19, 2008 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Vance County to the late Jack and Florence Pearce. Margaret was a member of Popes Uneed Church of Christ in Franklinton. She is survived by her daughter, Jeaneearney Lowery and her husband, Vernon, of Chase City, VA; three sons: Vickie Kearney and his wife, Mary, of Franklinton, NC; Maurice Kearney and his wife, Judy, of Franklinton; Larry Kearney and his wife, Barbara, of Youngsville; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Alton Lou Pearce and his wife, Edna, of Henderson; and Claude Skeeter Pearce and his wife, Mary, of Henderson. In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Herbert S. Kearney; a sister, Florine Pearce; and three brothers: Clyde Pearce, Edward Pearce and Rudolph Pearce, all of Henderson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2008 from Popes Chapel Uneed Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Friends may visit Monday evening, January 21, from 6:30-8:30 PM at Franklin Funeral Home, 504 E. Mason St. in Franklinton.
