Margaret Strowd Sharpe

Margaret Ellen Strowd Sharpe, 74, of Pittsboro, NC died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at home. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 o'clock Friday morning, May 25, 2012 at Hall Wynne Funeral Home in Pittsboro. Margaret Ellen was borneeptember 14, 1937, the daughter of Jim aneethel Strowd. She was a 1955 graduate of Pittsboro High School and 1959 graduate of Woman's College in Greensboro. She married classmate William Bill N. Sharpe Jr. in 1959. After she taught first grade in Fuquay Varina, they moved to Baltimore in 1961, East Lansing, MI in 1966, Baton Rouge, LA in 1978, and back to Baltimore in 1983. neember 2010 brought them back home after 49 years. Survivors include her husband, son James Ashley Sharpe, brother James William Strowd and his wife Deborah, cousin Frances Danek and husband Tom. A son, William Norman Sharpe III, predeceased her. Nephews are James Strowd III, Zachary Strowd and David Sharpe. Nieces are Polly Sharpe Falk grand-nieces Hayley and Kenna and Melanie Sharpe.
