Marguerite Clarke Parker

OXFORD: Marguerite Clarke Parker, age 85, died Friday, October 16, 2009, at Uneersal Healthcare in Oxford. A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe Z. and Mable Sizemore Clarke. She was retired from Mecklenburg County Health Department in Boydton, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. J. Steven Bolton. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Surviving is one sister, Jean Clarke Cannady of Oxford, NC; nephews, William E. Seabolt and wife "Michelle" of Rochester, New York; Norman R. Clark, Jr., William Clark and wife "Lisa"; niece, Katherine Clark Fowler and husband "Peter"; sister-in-law, Mary Katherine Clark, all of Salisbury, NC. She is preceded ineeath by a brother, Norman R. Clarke. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
