Marian Clifford

CHAPEL HILL - Marian Sinico Clifford , 78, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, passed away, neember 14, 2015. Marian was born January 3, 1937, in Sharon, Massachusetts to Marcel and Martha Sinico and grew up in Pittsfield the oldest of five children. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1955. On June 10, 1961, she married Mahlon James Clifford Jr. from Oxford, North Carolina, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Marian and Mahlon lived and raised their three girls in Ballston Lake, New York. Marian was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, quilting and was very active ineer community. Marian was predeceased by her husband and one brother. Marian is survived by her three daughters; Juliann, Marylee, and Marissa, her five grandchildren; Jonathan, Nicholas, Justin, Rachael, Christina, her sister, Judy Bellora, two brothers; John and Thomas Sinico, and many nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on neember 28, 2015, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, located at 1113 W. Main St., Durham, NC 27701. Fr. William McConville will preside.
