Marie Annette Turner

Mrs. Marie P. Turner, 56, of Creedmoor, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2013 with her family at her bedside after battling a long illness for nearly 14 years. She was born in Durham, NC on June 25, 1957. She married her childhood sweetheart Keith Turner on October 8, 1976 and have been married for 36 years. She attended Tabernacle of Life Church in Durham, NC, since the age of 9 years old. She is survived by her husband, Keith Turner; mother, Bessie Parker; children, Christina and son-in-law David Hill, Stephen, Jonathan, Hannah, Matthew and Faith Turner; three sisters, Sharon Bo Smith, Bobbie Mcrae, Joyce and husband Pastor Roby Turner Jr.; a brother, David Dolly Parker; eight grandchildren who loved their Nana with all their hearts, Brittany, Christian Silas, Bryanna, Haleigh, Caleb, Gabriel and Davien; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. She is preceded ineeath by her dad, Charles R. Parker. Pallbearers are Christian Turner, Daniel Yearwood, Timothy Batten, Joseph Edwards, Benjamin Edwards, Joel Robison, Colin Griffiths and Sherman Braxton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service 1113 West Main St., Durham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 1 PM at Tabernacle of Life Church, 2400 Sovereign St., Durham. Officiating are Pastor Roby Turner Jr. and Assistant Pastor John Thornton. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham. She will be forever loved and missed
