Marion Cash Nichols

Marion Cash Nichols, 85, of Durham, NC passed away Friday, December 28, 2018. She was born in Granville County, NC to the late Norman B. and Dena O. Cash. Marion was a native of Granville County and graduated from Oxford High School. She has lived in Durham, NC much of her life. She retired from Wachovia Bank, now Wells Fargo. Marion was devoted to her family, friends and church. She was member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church and the Ruth Gleaners Sunday School Class. Marion is survived by step-grandson Jake Nichols, nephew Ken Cash (Donna), great nieces and nephews Renee Ciszkowski (Tony) Craig Elliott (Janna), Starr Husketh (Carl), Amber Henderson (Scott), Lisa Pope (Mike), Kevin Davis, Brian Davis (Tonia), Chris Cash (Allison) and Mark Cash. She is also survived by great, great nieces and nephews, Chelsea, Nathan, Lauren, Mackenee, Mary Craig, Graycen, Dalton H., Sabrina, Macy, Lineey, Michael, Zach, Dalton D., Courtney C., Carson, Chase and Colin. She is also survived by great, great, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded ineeath by her husband Hubert (Nick) Nichols, two sisters, Ola Mae Roberts and Beulah Gibson; two brothers, Marshall Cash and Wadford Cash; nephew Larry Roberts, nieces Linda Elliott, Janee Davis, Cindy Rigsbee and step-son William Nichols. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Durham Memorial Baptist Church, 133 Robbins Rd, Durham, NC 27703. Burial will follow at Woodlawneemorial Park. The family will greet friends from 1-1:45 at the church prior to the service. In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Durham Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund at 133 Robbins Rd, Durham, NC 27703.
