Marjorie Niblock, 72, daughter of John and Rachel Nicoll, passed away in Durham on April 24th, 2008. Marjorie "Midge", a long-time Durham resident, was loved by many who appreciated her quick wit and warm soul. Midge was a Physical Education major at Monmouth College '58 and also received a Physical Therapy degree from the Mayo Clinic. More recently, she worked in a garden shop part-time where she made some valuable friends aneenjoyed going to work each day. Midge was an outstanding athlete throughout her life in sports such as tennis, volleyball and golf. She found great pleasure ineelping people professionally as well as donating her time to causes like the Red Cross. Midge was also fortunee to have a solid foundation ineer church, Pilgrim Uneed Church of Christ in Durham, for over 35 years. Family, church and Duke Basketball were most important to Midge. Her strength throughout life was inspirational to those around her. She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy and Caroline Niblock of Durham. Her memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 from Pilgrim Uneed Church of Christ with the Rev. Dr. Ginger Brasher-Cunningham presiding. A reception will be held in the church following the service.
