Mark Vincent Packard

Mark Vincent Packard, age 53, died neember 4, 2008 at Duke Hospice in Durham, North Carolina, after a short battle with paneeatic cancer. He was preceded ineeath by his parents, Howard and Jean Packard. He is survived by his sisters, Christine Chambers and Karen Packard Leneellegrino, nieces Cara Chambers and Lisa Chambers Jeremy Lindsley, great nephew Samuel Lindsley, god-daughter, Ingrid Watts, and many long-time, loyal and beloved friends. Mark graduated from Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus, OH in 1973 as class valedictorian. He received degrees in psychology and nursing from The Ohio State Uneersity and a Nurse Practitioner degree from Duke Uneersity. Mark loved music, kayaking, travel, cats and was blessed with a wonderful spirit for life and a great sense of humor. A dinner of remembrance was hosted by friends and family in the Durham area on neember 6, 2008. A funeral mass will be offered on Friday, neember 28, 2008 at 12:30 pm at St. Aneew Catholic Church, Reed and McCoy Roads in Upper Arlington, OH. In lieu of flowers, please contribute in Mark's memory to either Bishop Watterson High School, 99 E. Cooke Road, Columbus, OH 43214 or to St. Francis Animal Hospital, 2727 Hillsborough Road, Durham, NC 27705. Arrangements by Hall-Wynne Funeral Services, Durham, NC.
