Mary Louise Boyd

Oxford Ms. Mary Louise Boyd, 83, died Friday morning at Universal Healthcare in Oxford, NC. Ms. Boyd was born in Granville County to the late Mary Clyde and Thomas Lee Boyd. She was educated in Granville County, graduating from Oak Hill High School. Ms. Boyd spent her entire life in Granville County and Oxford, working with her parents and her two brothers on the family farm. She was a longtime member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her family. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017, at 1pm at Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, officiating will be Rev. Carroll Glasscock.
