DURHAM – Maureen Tuason Baylon-Magtalas, age 41, died at her home on September 18, 2023. She was born in San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines on October 16, 1981, to Conrad Magtalas and Evelyn Baylon-Magtalas.
Maureen moved to the United States when she was just four years old. In 2003, she graduated from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. After graduating, she was promoted to Banking Center Manager at Bank of America and from there her career continued to excel. In 2022, Maureen decided it was time to retire from Coastal Federal Credit Union to spend more time with her family and friends as her health was declining.
Maureen was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend.
When you think of Maureen, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
Maureen Tuason Baylon-Magtalas is survived by her parents, Conrad Magtalas and Evelyn Baylon-Magtalas. Maureen was preceded in death by Joseph Magtalas, Aurea Santos, Roderick Tinio, Angel Baylon Jr., Conrado and Paz Magtalas.
