Maxie A. Pickard

Maxie Alexander Pickard, of Durham, died on neember 11, 2008. She was born ineerrien County, Georgia. Mrs. Pickard was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Pickard; two daughters, Donna Bryant of Roswell, GA and Susan Shepherd of Timberlake, NC; two grandchildren, Michelle Dickerson and husband Kevin, and Jason Shepherd and wife Christie; five great grandchildren, Taylor, Cameron, Hayley, Sarah and Austin all of Timberlake, NC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded ineeath by parents, L.M. and Serene Alexander, one sister and two brothers all formerly of Georgia and a third brother Clifford Alexander formerly of Durham. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:30 PM on Thursday, neember 13, 2008 at Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Norman Harris will preside. Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 2PM Thursday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
