Merylen Winn Wilbourne

Merylen W. Wilbourne, died Sunday June 12, 2011 at his home. A native of Mecklenburg Co. Va, and was the son of the late Robbie and Anee Bell Redd Wilbourne. He was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church, a veteran of the US Army, retired from the US Postal Service and was a member of the DAV. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Eddie Mauldin with Military Honors. Surviving is his wife, Mary Ann Mayo Wilbourne; two daughters, Linn Kapus of Clarksville, Va. and Beth Thompson of Bullock; two sons, Doug Wilbourne of Oxford and Neal Wilbourne of Wake Forest; a sister Gladys Dunn of Roxboro; nee grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends following the graveside services at the home of Beth and J. C. Thompson, 2638 Propus Wilkerson Rd. Bullock, NC.
