Mildred Clay Currin

Oxford: Mildred Clay Currin, 89, died Monday April 11, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Robert W. Clay and Alene Usry Clay. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Clarence R. Currin. She is survived by her children, Debbie Hight (Charles), Kenny Currin (Mary), and Cathy Pruitt (Steve). Grandchildren, Benji Hight (Tracey), Ken Currin (Kelsey), Abbe and Ivy Pruitt. Great grandchildren, Peyton and Cullen Hight, and Krista Currin. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday April 14, 2016 at Hester Baptist Church by Dr. Randy Bridges and Mr. Dave Currin. The family will receive friends from 10:00 ??? 11:00 am prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hester Baptist Church Choir Fund, PO Box 964, Oxford, NC 27565. Gentry ??? neell & Vaughan Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the Currin family.
