Mozelle Brooks Green

Mozelle Brooks Green, daughter of the late Manley and Nellie Snees Brooks, was born in Chatham County on October 15, 1924. She departed her earthly life oneednesday, December 11, 2013 ineer home at the age of 89. She attended school in Chatham County before moving away. While living ineew York, she met and married the late Jule Green. She resided ineew York until she retired and returned to Pittsboro, NC where she lived until her death. She was preceded ineeath by her siblings, Mary Rodgers, James aneeddie Jack Brooks. She is survived by sisters, Anee Matthews of Pittsboro, NC and Shirley Frierson of Brooklyn, NY; brothers, Lenon Brooks of Pittsboro, NC and Shelton Brooks of Washington, DC; and, a host of nieces and nephews.
