A native of Chatham County, NC, Robert was born April 20, 1944, eldest son to the late Franklin O???Dell Beal and Lucille Jones Beal. He served honorably in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War. Robert lived a quiet life and was in grocery food service for 30 years. Mr. Beal is survived by his daughter, Michelle Baldwin of Augusta, GA; his brother Joseph Wayne Beal, of Pittsboro; his sister, Norma Beal, of Pittsboro and his granddaughter, Amanda Baldwin.
