Nancy Hauser Moore

Nancy Hauser Moore, 81, formerly of Bethlehem, PA and Fort Myers, FL, died January 23, 2009 at her home at Galloway Ridge ineearrington Village, Pittsboro, NC. Born May 11, 1927, in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roderick Ritter Hauser and Ruth Powell Hauser. Nancy was a graduate of Wheaton College in Norton Massachusetts. In 1948 she married the late Ben William Moore. Nancy traveled extensively abroad and for many years enjoyed auto racing, as her husband, Ben, was an original member of the Penee Racing Team. She was an active voluneer ineethlehem and became a successful realtor. Nancy retired to Florida in 1990, then, relocated to North Carolina in 2006, where she fully enjoyed her time with family and friends, particularly time spent dining, playing bridge, and watching football. Surviving her are her two daughters, Ellen Moore and husband, Richard Huguenin of Sedro-Woolley, WA, Elizabeth Stevenson and husband Frank of Apex, NC; grandsons Aneew and Mark Stevenson of Apex, NC, and cousin Elizabeth Kitchen of Charlotte, NC. A memorial service will be held on January 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Galloway Ridge Auditorium of Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, NC.
