Nellie Daniel Parrott Dickerson

Oxford: Nellie Daniel Parrott Dickerson, age 92, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at Franklin Oakes Nursing and Rehab. Center in Louisburg. A native of Granville County, she was the wife of Eldridge Dickerson and the daughter of the late Jim and Mollie Boyd Daniel. Nellie was a member of Bethel Uneed Methodist Church and a former in-home care provider. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Chapel by Reverend Jason Thornton. Burial will follow at Bethel Uneed Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service. Surviving is a soneeldridge Gary Dickerson of Oxford; a daughter, Nancy P. Dean Rick of Kinston; a sister Helen Currin of Oxford; grandchildren, Kristi Walsh and Richard Dean, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Haley. Nellie is preceded ineeath by her first husband, Titus Parrott, a sister, Lucy Parrott; brothers, Willie Daniel, and Walter Daniel.
