Nellie Gray Hessee

Nellie Gray Corbett Hessee, age 83, resident of 2113 Lodestar Drive, Raleigh, died Monday morning ineex Hospital. Born in Turkey, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lucian P. and Lillie Herring Corbett. Mrs. Hessee received her B.A Degree from San Jose State Uneersity. She was married for many years to Earl Warreneessee, who died in April of 2005. They lived in Los Altos, California for many years and moved to Raleigh in 1993. Mrs. Hessee was an I.R.S. Enrolled Agent for several years. She loved to read and writineessays was one of her joys. Mrs. Hessee will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving are two sons, Glenn C. Hessee and Warren D. Hessee both of Raleigh; a sister, Helen Massey of Turkey, NC and a brother. James Corbett of Vandalia, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, January 29, 2009 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. The Rev. David Willis will preside. Burial will be in Old Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, NC. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM to 2 PM, Thursday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be members of Rolling Thunder N.C. Chapter 4, Inc.
