Born in Durham on August 24, 1942 he was the son of the late Bryant Bacon Walker and Lyda Boone Walker. Norman is survived by his wife, Kay Godwin Walker, his sons, Norman ???Bryant??? Walker, Jr. of Morrisville, NC and James ???Jim??? Lee Walker and wife, Tammy of Mebane; his daughter, Frances Walker Stuart of Durham, his brother, William Cecil Walker and wife, Becky of Timberlake; his sisters, Susan Walker Dunnagan of Cary and Linda Walker Mangum and husband, Harlan of Durham; his grandchildren, Justin Bryant Walker, Samuel James Stuart, Lauren Wilkins (Chad), Brandon Wood (Anna). Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Gorman Baptist Church with Pastor Craig Phelps and Pastor Dan ???Danny??? Tilley officiating.
