Odie Hall Jones

Odie Hall Jones died Monday morning at Hospice of the Meadowlands. A Durham native, Odie recently turned 87 on April 16 of this year. She was the daughter of the late Ezra Thomas and Odie Vance Partin Hall. Odie attended Bethel Christianeenter.

Surviving are her son, Randy H. Jones and wife, Pana, of Durham; her daughter, Diane J. Swain and husband, Danny, of Durham; her sister, Frances H. Fullwood of Durham; grandchildren: Jasen, Dennis and Stacy Jones; Christy S. Glosson and husband, Dan; and Tanner Swain and wife, Molly; great grandchildren: Christopher Glosson and Alex and Tess Swain; many loving nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Beth Bradford, Emma Walker, Jeannette Paschall and Anee Alston. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Cicero Hamilton Jones, who died in 1998.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, from Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel. Pastor Doneestbrook of Bethel Christianeenter will preside. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may visit before the service from 1:00-2:00 PM in the funeral home.

Jasen Jones, Dennis Jones, Tanner Swain, Dan Glosson, Greg Franklin and Gary Franklin will serve as pallbearers.
