Olga Kopsky Malham

Olga Kopsky Malham, age 92, died Monday evening, October 19, 2015 at Carolina Point.?? She was born ineexington, NY to the late Peter and Natalie Kopsky. For most of her adult life, Olga Malham lived in Long Island, New York where she had a long career in the insurance industry as a claims analyst. She enjoyed summering in Twin Lakes, Connecticut, near her childhood home of Batam. Olga proudly recalled her first job at Decca Records, where she met such stars as Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland. She loved singing and the music of the swineera. She was an animated storyteller with and loved entertaining friends and family. ????Olga came from a large family and family was always the center of her life. She loved animals and had a particular foneess for corgis, horses, and owls. She was very active in the Catholic church and was a dedicated voluneer. After retiring, Olga moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida, where she further enriched the lives of her family. Later ineer life, Olga relocated to North Carolina to, once again, be with her family. ?? Olga is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Paul, of Raleigh, NC; her son, Joseph Malham of Pasadena, CA; three grandchildren, John Paul, Natalie Paul and Joseph Malham.?? She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Joseph Malham; two brothers and five sisters. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Chris VanHaight ,OFM, ??presiding. Friends may visit after the mass on Saturday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 pm at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. Burial will be held a later date ineestbury, NY.
