Ollie Frances Mimi Kelly Pickett

Ollie Frances "Mimi" Kelly Pickett met her heavenly father on March 4, 2014. Born October 21, 1924 in the Lowe's Grove Community of Durham, NC to the late Aneew L. and Ollie Lowe Wynne. She retired from Liggett & Myers to enjoy her family, especially her grandchildreneelly and Aneew Bowling. She was a long time member of Lowe's Grove Baptist Church and most recently a member of Hope Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Randy Bowling, her grandchildreneelly and Aneew Bowling, her sister Barbara Adams and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband William Kelly, her second husband Harold Pickett, her son Gregory Kelly and her siblings W. C. "Buck" Wynne, Howard Wynne, Earl Wynne, James Wynne, Claiborne Wynne and Nellie Ross. The family would like to thank her friends, family and special caregivers including Joanne Barker, Callie Council, her "girls" at the Duke Regional Ambulatory Care Center, the staff at Regional Cancer Care and the Hock Family Pavilion staff. The family will receive visitors at the Hall Wynne funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Hope Valley Baptist Church and graveside services will be at Lowe's Grove Cemetery officiated by Dr. Bill Bigger. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made to the Hock Family Pavilion.
