Paty Karstaedt

Patricia "Paty" William Karstaedt was born July 17, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA. Paty departed from us on Sunday April 7, 2013 at her home in Sanford NC, due to her battle with cancer. She graduated from Cary High. She was preceded ineeath by her son, Justin Allen Williams age two days; Biological father Ray Eger of PA; and her father Ralph Crnkovic of NC. Paty is survived by her husband Peter John Karstaedt; sons Nathan William Karstaedt Dusti Leigh Jones and Peter Austin Karstaedt of Sanford NC; granddaughter Katelyneean Karstaedt; grandson Robert Scott Jones; mother Lorraine Grubb & husband Curt Grubb, of SC; brothers Raymond Crnkovic Monika Hale of FL, Randy Crnkovic, Lucy Crnkovic & Eric Crnkovic of NC. She loved to read and spend time with family and friends. She also loved sitting by the fireplace, listening to music such as The Beatles, The Monkeys, with Tom Petty being her favorite of all. The family will receive friends at Hall-Wynne Funeral home in Pittsboro from 6-8:00PM Friday, April 12, 2013. A funeral service will be held at Hanks Chapel Uneed Church of Christ Saturday, April 13th at 2:00PM.
