Peggy Gerringer Teague, 73, of S. Rectory Street, Pittsboro, died May 25, 2008 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Peggy was born April 22, 1935 in Chatham County, a daughter of Raymond Gerringer and Nanee Johnsoneerringer. She was a retired machinist from TRIEM, Inc. in Carrboro, and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Grady Lee Teague, Jr. of the home; daughters, Karen Parker, Elaine Ratliff, and Charlene Farrell, all of Pittsboro, and Tracy Collins of Sanford; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded ineeath by a brother, Bill Gerringer. The service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from the graveside at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Shane Arnold presiding. Friends may visit with the family from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Monday at Griffin Funeral Service in Pittsboro, and at other times at the residence of Charlene Farrell, 103 Launis St., Pittsboro. Arrangements are under the care of Griffin Funeral Service of Pittsboro.
