DURHAM ??? Peggy Hilliard, age 75, died in Durham at Carolina Point, Pruitt Healthcare where she was under Hospice care on 12/30/2019. She was born on 10/5/1944 to the late Homer aneelizabeth Davis. She graduated as an LPN from the Watts School of Nursing in 1963.?? She then worked as an LPN and in EKG at Watts and later at Durham Regional Hospitals.?? Her hobbies included crocheting lovely butterflies, handmaking and theneending neecards, coloring and writing poetry.?? She loved listening to music and reading.?? She served as a voluneer at Threshold and was a regular worshipper at Grace Lutheran Church. Peggy is survived by a cousin, Margaret Neal Taylor and her deceased husband???s son, Vernon Hilliard, Jr, his wife, Susan, grandson, Wesley, granddaughters Ally and Sarah. Peggy was preceded ineeath by (her husband Vernon Hilliard, Sr).
