Peggy Paynter Hobgood

OXFORD: Peggy Paynter Hobgood, 80, of 6141 Hobgood Rd. died Wednesday, neember 26, 2014. A native of Warren County, she was the daughter of Jasper and Lizzie Paynter and the wife of the late William Eugene ???Billy??? Hobgood. Mrs. Hobgood helped her husband in their State Farm Insurance office in Oxford and was a homemaker at the home. She was a member of Trinity Uneed Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons George Presley Hobgood of Creedmoor, Henry Crawford and Katherine Hobgood of Berea; two daughters Cynthia Hobgood Crute and Michael of Columbus GA, Billie Jean Hobgood of Oxford; her brother Robert and Ronda Paynter of Henderson. Her grandchildreneessica Crute and Ron Overbey, Megan Crute and Danny Hardcastle, Ashley Taylor Hobgood, William Aneew Hobgood, Mathew Eugene Hobgood, John Crawford Hobgood, and Michael Henry Hobgood; and great grandchildren Kyleigh Ann Hardcastle, Mackenee Hardcastle, and Addison Overbey. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Saturday, neember 29, 2014 at Trinity Uneed Methodist Church; Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Lori Higgins Cox at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
