Rebecca Baird

Rebecca F. Baird, age 82, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Betty Belle Cone Baird. Becky was born in Granville County, NC on March 11, 1940.

Becky was a woman who loved color and design. She was a teacher for a short period of time and then opened her shop in clothing retail. She directed many weddings and had a flair that belonged to her. Becky was a long-standing active member of Oxford Presbyterian Church. She had a loving heart, quick wit and loved beautiful things.

Becky is survived by her children, John Ulmer (Heather), Stephen Baird and Elizabeth Cooper; her beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Collin, Jaxson, Isabella, Karie, CJ, and Michael and her 2 precious, great grandchildren, Leila and Hadley. Becky will be missed by many too numerous to name.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Oxford, NC.
