Rebecca "Becky" Horton Cottrell

KITTRELL: Rebecca "Becky" Horton Cottrell, age 72 of 3660 Cannady Mill Rd. Kittrell, went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2011. She was a native of Granville Co. and was the daughter of the late George and Anee Sears Horton. Becky was a member of Oxford Baptist Church and worked with the ASCS office as a Program Assistant for 34 years. Funeral services will be conducted July 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Oxford Baptist Church by Dr. Dennis Herman and Dr. J. Steven Bolton. Burial will be in the Sears Family Cemetery on the Cannady Mill Rd. Surviving is her husband of 52 years, Eugene Wallace Cottrell; a son, Wallace Timothy CottrellMissy of Oxford; a daughter, Rebecca Lynn CurrinPaul of Oxford; five grandchildren, Wallace Timothy Cottrell, IIMandi, Mary Whitaker Cottrellfiance', Bobby Hilgoe, William Adkins Cottrell, Ansel Paul Currin and Adam Wallace Currin. The family will receive friends Monday night July 11, 2011 from 7:00 until 8:30 at the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home.
