Reynaldo Lopez Magana, Jr.

Durham - Reynaldo Lopez Magana, age 48, died at home on December 11. 2022. He was born on November 18, 1974. 

Reynaldo was born in Mexico and moved to the United States to provide a better future to his family. Despite certain recent heal conditions, he continued working in landscaping and persevered through all obstacles. His greatest passion was music, and throughout his years, he was part of several prominent bands in the area. Furthermore, music was a shared interest and outlet for him and his son, Johnny.  

Reynaldo Lopez Magana is survived by his wife, Maria Hilda, and his children, Leo, Jennifer, and Johnny Lopez. 

A visitation with the family will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service located at 1113 West Main Street, Durham, NC 27701 from 6pm - 8pm. 

A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 810 Chapel Hill Street, Durham, NC 27701 on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10am. Burial will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham.
