Richard Paul Brezinski, 76, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on April 8, 2023. Richard was predeceased by his father Joseph “Henry”, his mother Virginia “Betty” and his brother Douglas. He is survived by his brothers Phil and Mark and his sister Lois as well as his wife Carol, son Brad and daughter Katie, daughter-in-law Jackie, granddaughter Isabelle and grand-dog Dukester. Beloved by many, Dick was given a number of nicknames throughout his life. “Richie” grew up in Little Falls, NJ, playing with his neighborhood friends and spending summers on LBI. He was a graduate of St. Benedict's Prep and Cornell University and became a proud employee of Marriott Hotels for 37 years. “Mr. B”, as he was known by his colleagues, started in marketing, and rose to manage several hotels around the country. Throughout his career, Dick always led by example, mentored countless associates, and created an enduring high standard of employee relations and customer service. Richard gave selflessly to people in need, always focused on the positive, had a great sense of humor, was an avid bicyclist, a food connoisseur, and a huge sports fan. Most importantly, Dick will always be the best dad anyone could dream of having. He will always be the sweetest, most thoughtful and loving man we know, and we will miss him endlessly.
