Rita Suzanne Kahr

Chapel Hill- Rita Suzanne Kahr (nee Ferber) was borneebruary 18, 1932, and departed from us on Saturday, April 29, 2017.?? Mrs. Kahr is survived by her devoted husband, Toby Kahr of Chapel Hill; son, Richard Kahr of New Jersey; daughter, Jenneer McGinnis of Durham; her grandchildren, Matthew, Kristen, J.T., and Jake Kahr; and beloved nieces and nephews Bill Kearns and his wife Yomaira, and Laurie Kearns Nowicki and her husband Michael, and their children; and her brother???s children, Sue, Mark, Matt, Luke, and the late John W. Ferber. She was preceded ineeath by her father William Albert Ferber; mother, Violet Mackay Ferber; brother, John William Ferber; and sister, Dorothy Ferber Kearns, and dear daughter, Stephanie Kahr Berry. She was a selfless and incomparable wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. And, most of all, a precious daughter of and servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.?? She was the embodiment of the Godly and noble woman of Proverbs 31:10-31, worth far more than rubies. ???Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.??? She is with her Heavenly Father now, and the angels rejoice at her presence in the Kingdom. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Rita???s life will be held in the Ballroom of the Clubhouse for the Cedars of Meadowmont at 100 Cedar Club Circle, Chapel Hill, NC 27517, starting at 1 P.M., on Saturday, May 6, 2017.
