Robert "Bob" M. Auchter

Robert ???Bob??? M. Auchter, 80, of Hillsborough, NC, formerly from Cincinnati, OH, passed away on Friday, April 20th at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Martha Louise (Freville) and children, Amy & David Prater, Thomas & Sarah Auchter, Martha & Alvin Chan, Katharine & Jimmy Jones, and 11 grandchildren. Brother of Richard & Terri Auchter, Helen & John Cain, James & Sue Auchter, and unee to neerous nieces and nephews. Bob was born in Green Bay, WI in 1937, son of the late Martin aneemma Auchter. Following graduation from Marquette Uneersity he worked for 34 years as an electrical engineer at Procter and Gamble. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. oneednesday April 25th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill with a visitation at 9:00 a.m. A committal service is scheduled immediately following at Maplewood cemetery in Durham.
