Devoted husband, loving father, faithful Catholic. Our Heavenly Father peacefully called his son Bob home oneebruary 19, 2015 after 87 faith-filled years. Born ineetroit on October 24, 1927, young Bob showed a high capacity to love as he developed an uneeakable bond with his best friend and older and only brother Leo. He voluneered for the Navy and served in WWII and the Korean War. He met the love of his life, Joan Rademacher, early in life as a pitcher for the Uneersity of Detroit. A devoted husband, their relationship stood the test of time and his 62-year marriage with Joan has left a legacy of eight children, twenty grandchildren and one great-grandchild and ripples of love that will continue to bear testimony to the loving father that he was. It was neer quiet in his full house and perhaps that is why Bob as a quiet man preferred his actions to speak louder than his words. He cherished the daily family supper lovingly prepared by Joan and devoured by the eight eager mouths around the dinner table. Bob and Joan have spent the past 24-years living ineearrington Village, neenjoying the Southern hospitality and the strong Catholic community of St. Thomas More. Bob's strong Catholic faith acted as a lifelong guide to his actions. His faith brought him comfort and a sense of peace. This belief in God and the promise of everlasting life gave Bob great comfort near the end as he went fearlessly to meet his Father with dignity and grace. Robert Joseph Totte lived a wonderful life, gave more thanee received and the power of his presence will remain in the hearts of those he loved. Bob is previously departed by his parents Mary aneedward, his brother Father Leo and their little angel Caroline.
