Robert L. Dorfman

Chapel Hill-Robert L. Dorfman, 87, formerly of Gloversville, NY and Jupiter, FL, died peacefully oneebruary 7, 2017. He was born to the late George and Pauline Dorfman on May 21, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY.?? Bob, a graduate of Syracuse Uneersity, Albany Law School and NYU Law School, was an avid golfer, traveler, art collector, and supporter of various charities.?? An Army veteran, he spent time voluneering at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Husband of the late Janee (nee Roth), Robert is survived by his two sons, George Dorfman, and wife, Tammy, of Durham, NC, aneelliot Dorfman, and wife, Roberta, of Eagle, CO; his sister, Deedy Goldstick, of New York, NY; and four grandchildren, Garrett, Holly, Jack and Sara Dorfman.
