Robert Lee Grissom, Jr.

ZEBULON: Robert L. "BOB" Grissom Jr. Age 66 of 4029 Wendy Lane, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, died Saturday May 31, 2008 in Duke-Raleigh Hospital. He was a native of Granville Co. and the son of the late Robert L. Grissom Sr. He was a life time member of the Jaycees and retired from GMAC. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday June 3, 2008 from Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Chapel, 503 College Street, Oxford NC by Pastor Todd Krueger. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, with Military Rites Oxford NC. Surviving is his wife, Kaye Faucette Grissom, of the home. His mother, Mrs. Mary Cottrell Clifford, of Oxford NC. One daughter, Lynn Allred and husband Henry, of Beaufort, NC; Two sons, David Hughes and wife Holly, of Zebulon, Rob Grissom, of Wilmington NC. Three Grandchildren, Leslie, Harrison and Hayden. One sister, Linda Grissom Polacheck and husband Bob, of WI. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made ineemory of Robert to the Wound and Healing Center Duke Raleigh Hospital, 3400 Wake Forest Rd., Raleigh NC 27609 or to Zebulon Uneed Methodist Church, 121 West Gannon Ave., Zebulon NC 27597. A special Gratitude goes to the caring Doctors and Nurses at Duke-Raleigh Hospital.
