Robert "Bob" Mieir

Robert "Bob" Mieir, born on August 22, 1953, in Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully in Sun City, Florida, on October 13, 2024. A retired Production Engineer at Revlon, Bob dedicated his professional life to the craft of engineering, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and innovation.

Throughout his life, Bob was known for his love of the outdoors and his skilled hands. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and tinkering with machines of all types, making the most of each moment spent in nature and creativity.

Bob is survived by his son, Justin Mieir of Henderson, NC; his mother, Helen Brown Mieir of Oxford, NC; his sister, Sharon Mieir Beck and husband Dave of Franklin, TN; his brother, Steve Mieir and wife Vicki of Lithia, FL; and his brother-in-law, Allen Jones and wife Nancy. His passing is felt deeply by these family members, who will remember him as a kind and resourceful person.

Preceding him in death are his beloved wife, Tina Powell Mieir; his father, Charles Mieir; and his sister, Pamela Mieir Jones. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

A graveside service will be held in honor of Bob on October 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford, North Carolina, where family and friends will come together to celebrate his life and the impact he made on those around him.
