Roby Keith Turner

Roby “Keith” Turner, 64 of Durham NC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 with his children by his side. He was born in Wilson, NC on May 6, 1957 to the late Roby Turner Jr and surviving Juanita Harris. He attended Tabernacle of Life church in Durham where his Dad pastored for over 50 years.

 

He is survived by his children, Christina, Stephen, Johnathan, Hannah, Matthew and Faith, 12 grandchildren Brittany, Christian, Silas, Bryanna, Haleigh, Caleb, Gabriel, Davien, Joshua, Levi, Lyssa and Airabella, 1 great grandson Liam and one on the way, 5 sisters Debra, Arlene, Emily, Esther and Lizzie and many nieces and nephews. 

 

He is preceded in death by his wife Marie Parker Turner who was his childhood sweetheart and married to for 36 years. After 8 long years they are happily reunited in Heaven, His Father Roby Turner Jr, his grandparents Roby Turner Sr and Minnie Turner Waddell. 

 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 9th from 6-8pm at Hall Wynne Funeral Service located at 1113 West Main Street in Durham.

 

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 12:00pm at Tabernacle of Life church 2400 Sovereign Street in Durham.  Officiating is Reverend Joe Greene and Elder Mike Edwards. 

 

Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Garden following the funeral. 

 

The family will receive food, friends and families at 4721 Howe Street in Durham.
