Rosa Amelia Jaramillo Cappas

Rosa Amelia Jaramillo Cappas passed away oneecember 1, 2019, peacefully, with her sister Paquita by her side. This lively, creative woman lived a long and interesting life. She leaves us with memories of her spicy humor, beautiful gardens and gracious home, as well as gifts of her handiwork in quilting, needlepoint, and crochet. She brought energy and passion to all she did. She is survived by her sisters Mrs. Paquita Poza-Juncal and Mrs. Maria de la Torre, and brother Father Gerardo Jaramillo, as well as nieces Esther Poza, Ines Poza, Lilia de la Torre and Alexandra de la Torre, great nieces Natalie Buckwalter, Rebecca Buckwalter, Isabella Vasconcelos and Grace Greenspan and great nephew Alejandro Poza. She was preceded ineeath by her husband George Cappas, brothers Julio and Marco Jaramillo, and parents Marco Fidel Jaramillo and Maria Agudelo Jaramillo. The family thanks the staff at Carillon Assisted Living for the care and attention they gave her. We also thank the staff of Kineed Hospice for their dedication to her comfort in the final months of her life. The Cappas family is under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
