Rose Salamoni Yon

Rose Salamoni Yon, 89, died Monday, June 30, 2008 at Forest View Rehabilitationeenter. Born in East Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of Salavtor and Maryanne Salamoni. Rose was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and greatly enjoyed the fellowship and kineess that she received there. Her great love for the church extended to all those who had the chance to meet her. It is easily said that she had neer met a stranger. Her warmth and hospitality was felt most by all the loving nieces and nephews that will neer forget how special she truly was. Rose was employed with Kimbrell's Furniture store for over thirty years as a sales associate. She loved her work as it provided her with the opportunity to know so many great people and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to, Heartland Hospice Care, 3117 Poplarwood Ct. #114, Raleigh, NC 27604. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2008 from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Steven Patti, OFM, presiding. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11-12 PM Wednesday, at Immaculate Conception, immediately prior to the Mass.
