Roy Benjamin Harris, Jr.

OXFORD Mr. Roy Benjamin Harris, Jr. age 63 of 3615 East Geer Street, Durham, died Friday, February 13, 2009. A native of Granville Co. and the son of the late Roy B. Harris, Sr. and Bessie Sue Renn Harris. He was of the Baptist Faith. Roy graduated from Durham High School. He was in the reserve from 1968 until 1974. He was a truck driver for 40 years. He drove for Epps, Northerneelecom and Transport Services. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, February 16, 2009 from Elmwood Cemetery, Oxford, NC. Surviving are his friends. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:30 PM Sunday at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, 503 College Street and at other times at the home of Dennis Brandon, 4263 Belltown Road, Oxford, NC.
