Ruby Markham Knowles

Ruby Markham Knowles, age 90, died Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Hock Family Pavilion.?? The youngest of eighteen children and the last to survive, Ruby was born in Efland, NC to the late James V. and Jamie Proctor Markham oneeptember 8, 1924. ?? Ruby is survived by her three children, Ronald R. Knowles (Brenda) of Hillsborough, NC; Sharon Knowles Dorthy of Winston-Salem, NC; and Danny Knowles (Kay) of Graham, NC; three grandchildren, Matthew Knowles and Jenneer and Nathan Dorthy; and three great-grandchildren, Fletcher and Bennett Knowles and Reece Dorthy; and two nieces and one nephew.?? She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Arthur E. Knowles. Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Maplewood Cemetery, Section 16.??
