Ruby S. Ferrell

Ruby S. Ferrell, 95, formerly of Durham, died Monday, October 13 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Mrs. Ferrell was a member of Calvary Uneed Methodist Church in Durham and retired from Southerneell with 36 years of service. She was the daughter of Herbert A. Seagroves and Lillian Foy Utley Seagroves. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 15 at 11:00 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section Two, Durham. Family will be available for visitation following the service. Rev. David Goehring and Rev. Laurie Hays Coffman will be presiding. Survivors are a daughter, Susan F. Rawls and husband Frank of Raleigh and a brother, Charles R. Seagroves and wife Eunee J. of Holly Springs. She was preceded ineeath by her husband of 49 years, John H. Ferrell; a sister, Mildred Seagroves and grandson Cy Rawls. Flowers are acceptable or memorials may be made to Calvary Uneed Methodist Church, 304 East Trinity Avenue, Durham, NC 27701.
