Ruby Woody Barnes

OXFORD: Ruby Woody Barnes, age 91, a resident of Granville House died Wednesday December 8, 2010. She was a native of Vance County and was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Woody. She was a long time resident of Henderson, NC. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church Funeral services will be conducted Friday December 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Island Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Marshall Neathery. Burial will be in the church cemetery.. Surviving is one sister, Zella Dew Woody of Columbia, SC; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the services Friday. The family extends thanks to the staffs of The Granville House of Oxford and Community Home Care/Hospice of Henderson.
