Ruth Elizabeth Warrell Roskoz

Ruth Elizabeth Warrell Roskoz, 73, died on Monday, July 30, 2012. Ruth was born in Brooklyn, NY to William Albert and Belva Jaeger Warrell on neember 24, 1938. Ruth is survived by her husband Jack Roskoz of Chapel Hill, NC; daughter Jenneer Roskoz of Boston, MA; brother in law Dr. John B. Kuhn and wife Mary Roskoz of Smith Mountain Lake, VA. Ruth is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded ineeath by her sister Belva Fields. Ruth graduated from the State Uneersity of New York at Geneeo in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science in Library aneelementary Education. She had many interests. Ruth loved being an elementary school librarian and business woman. She was a American Contract Bridge League Life Master, active voluneer, 9- hole golfer, world traveller, voracious reader and a loving wife and mother. A memorial service will be offered Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11 AM from Uneersity Presbyterian Church, 209 E. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. A reception at Governors Club, 11000 Governors Drive, Chapel Hill will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ruth's nee may be made to the UNC Hospice at P.O. Box 1077, Pittsboro, NC 27312, Duke Hospice at 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101 Durham, NC 27704 or Uneersity Presbyterian Church at 209 E. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
