S. Eric Kyles

DURHAM - Samuel Eric Kyles, age 75, died Tuesday morning, January 29, 2019. Mr. Kyles was predeceased by his parents Richard E. and Mina O???Briant Kyles and sister, Janee Kyles. Mr. Kyles worked as an accountant for many years with his last employment with America Tobacco and Croasdaile Village. He was a charter member of Hope Valley Baptist Church, taught Sunday School for many years and served in many capacities in the church including a choir member and a deacon. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Clayton Kyles; sister, Kay Aneews and her husband, Ron Aneews; daughter, Amy Kyles Bain and son-in-law, Jeffrey Bain; grandchildren, Kyle and Savannah Bain; nephew, Rick Aneews and niece, Melanie Fulford. The Kyles family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Croasdaile Pavilion. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hope Valley Baptist Church attention: Choir, 6900 Garrett Road, Durham, NC 27707. Funeral services will be held at Hope Valley Baptist Church, on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 2PM with a visitation starting at 1PM. Burial rights to follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, NC.
