Sally Newton Lloyd

DURHAM Sally Newton Lloyd, 93, died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at the Croasdale Pavilion following a brief illness. Prior to moving to Croasdale, she was a resident of Carolina House and lived oneeritage Drive in Durham for over 30 years. She was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in Durham. Sally is survived by her sons, Jim Lloyd and wife Nancy of Raleigh, Allen Lloyd and wife Brenda of Lumberton, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, John D. Lloyd. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 30 2010 at Raleigh Memorial Park with Rev. Forest Gale officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wesley Pines Benevolent Fund, 1000 Wesley Pines Rd., Lumberton NC 28358.
