Sara Anneelson

Sara Anneelson, 54, died neember 1st at Duke Hospital. She graduated from Lawrence High School, Lawrenceville, NJ in 1974. She sang in the Madrigal Group, was Captain of the Color Guard, was inducted into the National Honor Society and was a National Merit Scholar. She graduated from Duke Uneersity in 1978 with honors. She sang in the Duke Chorale the entire four years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville until 1979. She sang in the Fortuna group for 20 years and she was a member of the Choral Society of Durham for many years, up until the time of her death. She worked for Glaxo, Glaxo-Welcome and Glaxo Smith/Kline for 17 years and for her last several years, was assistant director of Regulatory Affairs. She had a passion for gourmet cooking along with her husband plus she had many hobbies. She is survived by her husband, David Levi of Durham, her mother, Norma Nelson of Cary, her brother, sister-in-law and niece, Jim, Jill and Michelle Nelson of Durham. She was a very intelligent, loving, kind, caring and sweet person. She was respected and loved by her family and her many friends. She will be sorely missed by all. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hall-Wynne Funeral Service Chapel, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham, NC. A private cremationeeremony was held at the Hall-Wynne Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Habitat for Humanity of Durham, 215 N.
