DURHAM-Shawna Alison McGinty died at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC on neember 15, 2016 at the age of 43. Shawna was born in Wilmington, NC on May 27, 1973 to Johnny and Patricia Woodell. Shawna is survived by her husband, Daniel McGinty Jr.; son, Jonathaneee Ritter of Tonawanda, NY; daughters, Brittany Ritter McFarland (Jake) of Buffalo, NY, and April Spring Ritter of Florida; brother, Johnny C. Woodell, Jr. of Keystone Heights, Fla; sister Kimberly Woodell Carlton of Keystone Heights, Fla; grandchild Jaxon McFarland; father, Johnny C. Woodell, Sr of Keystoneeights, Fla; mother and father-in-law, Dan and Dorothy McGinty of Durham, NC; sister-in-law, Kelly McGinty Hallmets (Kyle) of Durham, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Shawna is preceded ineeath by her mother, Patricia Anneest Woodell. A Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be 12:00PM at St. Matthew???s Catholic Church, 1001 Mason Road, Durham, NC 27712 on neember 18, 2016 with Fr. Thanh Nguyen and Fr. Frank Seabo officiating. Burial will follow the mass in St. Matthew???s Catholic Church Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 ??? 12:00PM Friday prior to the service at the church.
